Fin da bambino ho usato forme differenti d’arte per provocare emozioni prima di tutto in me stesso, e poi possibilmente negli altri, e infine ho trovato nella scultura figurativa un modo per rendere concreti e tangibili i miei sogni e i miei mondi immaginari. Mi interessa raccontare storie fantastiche, mostrare mondi differenti dal nostro, o la nostra stessa realtà ma vista da una prospettiva divergente; e ho l’obbiettivo, se mi riesce, di provocare e stimolare l’immaginazione nell’osservatore. Come artista ricerco il sublime, il surreale, a volte il grottesco, non come un modo per fuggire dalla realtà, ma come un impeto per infondere la realtà di meraviglia.

Since I was a child I used different forms of art to provoke emotions first of all in myself and then possibly in others, and eventually I found in figurative sculpture the mean to render concrete and tangible my dreams and my imaginary worlds. I’m interested in telling fantastic stories, in showing worlds different from ours, or our own reality but seen from a divergent prospective; and I aim, if I can, to challenge and spur the imagination of the viewer. As an artist I seek the sublime, the surreal, sometime the grotesque, not as a mean to flee from reality, but as a strive to infuse reality with wonder.
